Hi Everyone:
Yes, Kara, thanks! I did have a great Valentine's day!
So, your homework, should you choose to accept it, is to watch the movie version of Little Women - I prefer the version with Susan Sarandon and Winona Ryder, but you can choose whatever version you would like! For those of you who were at the last meeting, we got a little over half way through.
Your homework is a perfect lead in to this month's title - find a book that has been turned into a movie - read the book, watch the movie, and then let's find out which one you liked most! I have lists at the library if you are looking for suggestions. Remember - no Twilight! Pick something new!
And don't forget to post a blog every now and again - the person who blogs the most during a month gets a prize!
See you in March.
Lindsay

The Evil Homework Assignment
As we will not see each other again for almost 2 months (yikes!), I thought we needed a little something to keep us talking through the Holiday Season. So here it is, the Evil Homework Assignment - who knew book clubs had homework?
1. Read as much as you can - that should be pretty easy!
2. Write about what you read. Where? Here, of course! Even if it is simply the title and author of the book you just finished reading (and whether or not anyone should bother reading it), put it here for people to read! I want to see something from everyone at least twice between now and January 14th.
3. The above statements apply to Mothers as well... and Librarians...
Let's show everyone all the great books out there!
