New Invitees!

Hi everyone:

I have sent out blog invitations to our newest members, and also re-sent invitations to those of you who haven't signed up for this blog as of yet. Just follow the instructions in the email, and you will be ready to post in no time!

I'm about to go on vacation (Friday at 5 pm!!) so I won't be around the library for the last week of the month - check this blog often though, as I'm planning on reading A LOT during that week!

Also, if you are around this Saturday (October 25th), all of the library locations are celebrating Ontario Public Library Week (yipee!) and there will be lots of activities, and cake... yeah, you heard me, cake!!

Just remember, the fact that it's freezing outside simply means that you can stay in and read more, and not feel guilty!

Meeting Reminder

Hi Everyone:

Just a quick reminder that we have our next book club meeting this coming Wednesday, October 15th at 7:30 pm. Make sure that you have finished reading Teen Idol - I'd hate to ruin the ending for you!

I will also be handing out our next book - Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin.

Please take some time and think about what other books we can read - we will need to choose our December title this week so I can arrange for books.

New Members!

Hi Everyone!

Please join me in welcoming Kara, Jenna, and their mother Vicky, as well as Roshni and her mother Krishna to our book club! That makes us a very lucky 13!

I can't wait to see all of you on October 15th to talk about Teel Idol by Meg Cabot. We will also have a quick lesson in blogging, and start learning how to crochet. It will be a blast!
